CLEANING YOUR HAIR...TO SHAMPOO OR NOT TO SHAMPOO

Hey are talking a lot lately about the shampoo? Should you use it or not? In recent years, many girls with curls have dropped detergent based shampoos in favor of those without sulfates or they may clean their hair with conditioner in an effort to minimize dryness. Staying away from shampoo detergents with harmful ingredients, and using organic-based sulphate-free shampoos to clean the scalp and hair keeps you away from problems on the scalp and hair loss.

What are sulfates?

Sulfates are strong, desiccating detergents (surfactants) that are found in regular shampoos, which are very damaging to the hair curl, and strips it of its natural moisture, so it becomes frizzy and hard to manage.
By discontinuing the use of products based on sulfates you will restore 80% of the overall health of the hair.

But do you need a shampoo? If not properly cleanse, the scalp and hair follicles become clogged with sebum, then yes, you may begin to experience some serious problems. Your hair follicles can suffocate, become infected and or you can actually start to lose your hair over time.

If you use a sulfate free cleanser or conditioner or a shampoo with mild surfactant once a week and a very good scalp massage is given during cleaning, using fingers and rubbing your scalp with a firm, you are massaging and removing sebum, dirt and debris from hair follicles while stimulating the sebaceous glands to keep it running smoothly. The cleaner acts as an agent removing oil and dirt without damaging and drying the hair. That is the real purpose of a cleanser, not this nonsense abrasive shampoo sulfates that strip the hair of moisture and essential oils that keep it healthy
