Carrots For Hair Growth
Carrot Pre-shampoo Treatment: This pre-shampoo treatment is for those who are bored of oiling hair.  To make this treatment mask, you need one or two carrots (according to your hair length) cut into small pieces. Then mix it with olive oil, coconut oil, essential oil and honey. After mixing the ingredients well, heat the mixture for 2-3 minutes. After heating, blend it well using some curd. The mixture will look like a carrot smoothie but no you don’t have to drink it :P.
Apply on hair from roots to tip and keep it for 20-25 minutes. Rinse out with a good shampoo. This pre-shampoo treatment will stimulate hair growth and it will also make your hair smooth and healthy. You can apply this carrot for hair growth treatment on weekends and it will spice up your hair care routine.
Carrot Oil: To make carrot oil at home, take some carrots and grate them with the help of grater. Now keep the grated carrots in a clean glass mason jar and add oil (you can use olive oil, coconut oil or castor oil) in it. Keep this mixture in a dark room for about 1 week. Once the oil becomes orange in colour, you can store it in a clean container and compost the carrots. Use this oil every week before shampooing and keep it for half an hour. This carrot juice will make your hair strong and will strengthen your hair roots. It will also reduce hair breakage and will stimulate hair growth.

Carrot Hair Mask: Take one carrot and banana, peel the fruit. Cut them into small pieces and then add olive oil to this mixture. Blend then mixture in a blender with the help of curd and make a paste. The paste should not be thick as it will be difficult in removing. Apply this hair mask on hair for around 30 minutes and then wash off with regular shampoo. Carrots in the hair mask will stimulate hair growth, prevent hair breakage and make your hair healthy. Banana in the mask will make them smooth, silky and manageable.
If you’re lazy, then buy carrot seed oil available in the market and mix two-three drops of it with your regular oil and apply the mixture for 1 hour before shampooing. Carrot seed oil is also very beneficial in hair growth and regular usage will show amazing results.
